Hear Her Voice is a transformative healing space dedicated to empowering individuals impacted by trauma, addiction, incarceration, and systemic injustice. Founded by Tyrah Kingcade, also known as Nairobi, in 2024, our mission is rooted in resilience, lived experience, and the belief that every voice deserves to be heard and honored.
We provide creative and trauma-informed programs that promote healing, self-discovery, and community connection through expressive writing, mentorship, recovery support, and reentry services. Our approach blends storytelling, mental health education, and personal development to guide individuals on their path to restoration and empowerment.
To use creatively designed programs and services to reduce recidivism, prevent youth incarceration, and rebuild the lives of individuals impacted by the justice system. We are dedicated to providing supportive resources and services that promote self-empowerment, healing, and successful reintegration into the community.
We envision a thriving community grounded in unity and shared humanity where individuals inspire, uplift, encourage, challenge, and empower one another. Through compassion, collective strength and services that promote unity and healing, we aim to support successful reentry after incarceration and serve as a powerful voice for those still behind bars.
